- In 2022, AMD 165.6 billion, or 7.4% of the state budget expenditures, were allocated to education,
- The actual expenses of the education sector increased by 11% compared to the previous year,
- The financial performance of the 2022 education budget was 97%, 21 out of 127 planned measures were not fully implemented,
- 56.3% of the total expenses (AMD 93.2 billion) was allocated to public education, followed by student allowances (AMD 17 billion or 10.3% of the total expenses) and actions to improve the seismic safety of schools with the support of the Asian Development Bank (AMD 8.1 billion or 4.9% of the total expenses).
